Will all the real Janices please stand up? With Drake’s Billboard Hot 100-topping hit “Janice STFU” essentially telling people named Janice to pipe down, he’s ready to apologize and make up for it to those bearing the name.

Drizzy announced on Thursday (June 25) that he’s gearing up to host Janice-only parties across North America in NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto and Houston. Invites are set to be sent out on Sunday (June 28).

“All my Janice’s in NY, LA, MIA, TO, HOU, look out for my invitation for Sunday,” he wrote to his Instagram Story.

According to Now Toronto, Sunday’s bash in the 6 is going down at Cactus Club in the afternoon (1 p.m. ET to 4 p.m. ET), and guests will need government ID with the name “Janice” to get into the party. No exceptions are being made.

Billboard has reached out to Drake and Cactus Club for comment.

“Janice STFU” landed on Drake’s ICEMAN album in May and notched him his 14th Hot 100 No. 1 hit, which broke him out of a tie with Michael Jackson to give Drizzy the most No. 1s of any male soloist.

Produced by Rogét Chahayed, FnZ and b4u, the track spent a pair of weeks at the summit, which marks Drake’s first hit to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 since 2018’s “In My Feelings.”

The Janice referenced on the track appears to be taken from The Sopranos, as Janice is the name of Tony Soprano’s manipulative sister in the hit HBO show.

Chahayed spoke to Billboard about how it was a full-circle moment for him notching his third Hot 100 No. 1 hit with a Sopranos-inspired track, as he’s a massive fan of the show.

“It’s the greatest show of all time, and Drake’s one of the greatest artists of all time, so it’s a crazy full-circle thing,” he told Billboard in May. “I guess watching the show 100 times and making beats every day paid off.”
